US network giant Verizon now has a new tablet on offer for its customers. It is the Asus ZenPad Z8, first sighted in a leak last month. The specs provided back then by @evleaks pretty much check out now that the official listing is out.
The ZenPad Z8 has a 7.9-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels. Internals include a hexa-core Snapdragon 650 SoC with an Adreno 510 GPU. There are 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. There is also a camera on board, but as is typical with tablets, it is nothing special and only has a 2MP sensor.
Other features include dual front facing speakers with DTS-HD support, which should deliver excellent audio experience. There is also a USB Type-C connector, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi a/c and Bluetooth and the whole thing weighs in at 320 grams. As per official specs, its battery should last up to 13 hours.
The ZenPad Z8 can be ordered today from Verizon's website at the source link for $249 full retail or alternatively $149.99 on a two year contract or $10.41 a moth over two years. However, units will be available starting June 23.
