The 4K-capable PlayStation 4, which has been the subject of rumors and leaks for quite some time now, has been officially confirmed by Sony. The confirmation came from the president and group CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment Andrew House.
"It is intended to sit alongside and complement the standard PS4," House said. "We will be selling both [versions] through the life cycle." He further added that "all games will support the standard PS4 and we anticipate all or a very large majority of games will also support the high-end PS4."
House also confirmed the device's current code-name 'Neo', but made it clear that the gaming console won't be unveiled at the upcoming E3 2016 gaming expo, which is scheduled for June 14 - June 16. As for price, he just said that the tag will be over $350.
